IENDED up watching The Sound of Music again over the Christmas break and, somehow, one particular song seems to have got wedged firmly into my brain - and it has been buzzing around my head ever since!

As a result, while I was having a look at what is around in the shops at the moment, I decided this would be a good time to show you some of the spring 2015 selections that have caught my eye.

There won't be any raindrops on roses, but until this silver white winter melts into spring, these are a few of my favourite things!

They don't match or even go together in one room - in fact the only factor they have in common is that I love them all.

As you would expect with a spring collection, freshness plays a big part, as do florals and pretty colours. Anything to push us forward through the February drudge!

They have all made me smile, and at this time of year that has got to be a good thing.

WOWfi absolutely gorgeous! This beautiful dresser will look wonderful in the bedroom but why hide it away? Use it in a hallway to make an impact from the second you walk through the door. Start saving those pennies now.

I dare you to wake up grumpy after a night spent sleeping under these daisies.

Photographic daisy double duvet set, Pounds 12, George Home at Asda YOU'RE bound to feel chilled after resting between these sheets.

Palm Tree bed-linen set includes pillow cases, Pounds 18 (double). Cushions, Pounds 8 each. Both Sainsbury's PRICEY, Y, Y I know, but a chair like this will make a real impact in your home, no matter what room in the house you decide to put it in. The fresh green colour is a must for this season too.

Jasper chair, Pounds 395, Furniture Village GIVING a freestanding bath, the ombre - or gradual fading - effect is so obvious it's hard to believe I've never come across it before. Genius. And as for the painted crate wall shelf - someone pass the cordless drill, please!
