ROCHDALE boss Keith Hill has admitted to feeling de-energised at times - but said working with the players kept him charged up.

With no midweek game to negotiate, Hill and his squad will get an extended break from each other before picking up again to prepare for Saturday.'s trip to Fleetwood.

"I am energised by what I see every day but sometimes I do get tired," he admitted. "I am energised by the fact I have a free week now, so I can go to the Seven Stars and have a few scoops!

"We will do things a bit different this week. The players will probably be given a bit of extended time off, all of them. It can become difficult if you are with somebody 24 hours, seven days a week. It can get on your nerves. My dad always used to say 'a change is as good as a rest', so we will do that."

Hill was also lifted by " some positive feedback after the 2-1 win against Colchester last Saturday. …
