UNITED are facing a make-or-break 35 days in their bid to reach the Champions League, but Louis van Gaal is convinced the Reds will emerge from the nail-biting Premier League climax successful.

UNITED have a crunch 've-game run now, with four of those opponents in the top six starting with tomorrow's visit of Tottenham, who are in sixth, just three points behind the Reds.

UNITED then travel to inform Liverpool, who are currently in 'fth spot and just two points shy of Van Gaal's men in fourth.

the Reds then have an Easter Saturday 'xture at home to strugglers Aston Villa before a back-to-back collision with the Premier League's top two.

the derby against City is followed by a journey to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea.

And after Monday's FA Cup defeat to Arsenal ended any chance of them winning a trophy this season, Van Gaal believes his battlers will hit back.

"It is very decisive, the coming matches," he said.

"Of course, after a defeat at home, it is also to see the reaction of the team.

"We play against a very good team in Tottenham. We are so close (in the league) with a lot of clubs.

We can be second or third. It is not a big difierence. I have a lot of con'dence in my players.
