1. Shopping for food START preparing your own lunches every day. If you cook in bulk, bolognese, chilli, you can put them in the freezer and then they are ready to go.

Some people turn up their noses at budget supermarkets, but to be honest there is nothing wrong with most of it, especially the fresh stuff.

2. Upcycle DON'T buy new furniture.

You can buy second hand, or even go on Facebook groups and sometimes people are giving furniture away simply so people will come and pick it up an take it off their hands. You can always repaint it to make it look nicer.

3. Don't hit the high street IF I need new clothes I won't go to the high street.

I find avoiding it all together so I never see it is the best way.

A lot of stuff in charity shops can be really good. It is not all rubbish, and you can save a fortune.
