WIGAN boss Gary Caldwell is urging supporters to provide an early boost by greeting the team as they arrive at the stadium.

It is an effort that fans have gone to on various occasions while Caldwell was a player at the DW, and it still strikes a chord with the Scot.

"I remember in recent years, when many supporters greeted us as we arrived at the stadium before games, we could see then how much the club meant to you.

"I really think that if it adds just a few percentage points to a player's performance, it can make a positive impact.
