MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED) ORDER NO. MCC003747 Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): (MCC003747)The City of Manchester (Garratt Way, Gorton North Ward)(Temporary One Way Traffic) Order 2015. The effect of the Order is to make Garratt Way one Way from Tesco's Entrance to Wellington Street in that direction. The alternative routes for traffic will be: 1. Wellington Street, Gorton Lane, Belle Vue Street, Hyde Road, Whitwell Street 2. Taylor Street, Cambert Lane, Garratt Way. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway Depression/Cavity works. It is expected that the works will be in progress between 05 May 2015 and 08 May 2015, At All Times. The order shall come into operation on the 05 May 2015 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Park Crescent, from Wilmslow Road to 40 metres in a North easterley direction from the junction with Wilmslow Road. The alternative routes for traf-fic will be: 1. Wilmslow Road, Thurloe Street and Visa Versa The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Utility Services works. …
