12: Times the Steelers and Ravens have met in prime time since the team moved to Baltimore in 1996. The Steelers hold a 6-5 edge in those games.

5: Consecutive games between the Steelers and Ravens have been decided by three points or fewer.

2: Field goals needed by K Shaun Suisham to become the fifth kicker in Steelers history to make 100.

WHEN THE STEELERS HAVE THE BALL

* Key performers: DT Haloti Ngata, OLB Terrell Suggs, OLB Elvis Dumervil, ILB C.J. Mosley, CB Lardarius Webb.

* Who's hot: Ngata has been his usual stout self and Suggs is the same player he always has been, flip-flopping sides to confuse the offense. But Dumervil was not very effective against the Bengals and could be slowing down. Webb aggravated his back injury and might not play.

* What's been working: Rookie Mosley and veteran Daryl Smith have been very active at inside linebacker, but the Ravens had trouble with screen plays toBengals RB Giovanni Bernard. That could be a problem against Bell, who had 235 scrimmage yards on 43 touches against them in 2013.

* Game plan: Like the Steelers, the Ravens use a lot of sub- packages with five or more defensive backs. But they will use a rotation in their front line that includes Dumervil, Pernell McPhee, DeAngelo Tyson and rookie Tim Jernigan to get pressure on QB Ben Roethlisberger.

* Keep an eye on: Matt Elam was switched from free safety to strong safety this season, and the move has been very beneficial for the Ravens. A former linebacker, Elam (5-11, 200) plays closer to the line of scrimmage and is one of the team's best tacklers.
