COUNTDOWN

A look at the top performances from a 31-10 Sunday loss in Cleveland:

1.) BAD HOLD: Shaun Suisham wouldn't assign any blame for a 35- yard field goal attempt that, uh, never got off the ground. But his timing was disrupted when holder Brad Wing didn't get the ball in the proper position for the kick, forcing Suisham to pull back with his right leg. The kick would have given the Steelers a 6-0 lead. The Browns took advantage of the gaffe to score a touchdown five plays later. "It was a bad play," Suisham said. "We need to make kicks when we have the opportunity, and as a unit we failed to do it."

2.) PLAY FAKE I: After the botched field goal, Browns QB Brian Hoyer fooled the entire defense with a 42-yard completion to TE Jordan Cameron on a misdirection play, setting up a 5-yard TD run by rookie Isaiah Crowell. "It was not a good feeling," ILB Lawrence Timmons said.

3.) PLAY FAKE II: Hoyer completed only eight passes, but two went to Cameron for 42 and 51 yards, the latter for a touchdown against Cortez Allen that made it 14-3.

4.) BAD CALL: Trailing, 14-3, the Steelers faced third-and-1 at their 44 after two runs by Le'Veon Bell. But Ben Roethlisberger tried a deep pass to Markus Wheaton that was incomplete and the Browns went on an 85-yard scoring drive to make it 21-3.

5.) SAD SACKS: The Steelers marched to the Browns 30 on their opening possession of the second half, but the drive stalled when Roethlisberger was sacked on back-to-back plays, pushing the Steelers out of field-goal position.

GAME BALL

WR ANTONIO BROWN

On another listless day for the offense, the AFC's leading receiver managed to catch seven passes for 118 yards -- his third 100-yard receiving game this season. Granted, three for 56 yards came on the final series of the first half when the Browns were in soft coverage. But it was the 22nd consecutive game in which Brown has had at least five catches and 50 yards. "It's not about individual matchups," Brown said. …
