NFL Football

Part 2 of wild-card weekend kicks off here with this second AFC matchup pitting a nondivision winner against one of the conference's lower-seeded first place teams. The second NFC wild-card game follows on Fox. The victors, of course, advance to the divisional round next weekend.

9 p.m. on WQED

Masterpiece Classic

One of the most popular series around the world currently, "Downton Abbey" begins its fifth season. The newest episodes already have aired in England, but no major spoilers will be given here. Suffice it to say Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) gets a new personal interest early on, as others are upset by the installation of a new government.


9 p.m. on WPCW

Jane the Virgin

With wedding bells imminent for her, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) faces a moment of truth in "Chapter Four." During a counseling session, she feels compelled to tell Michael (Brett Dier) about the attraction she's feeling toward Rafael (Justin Baldoni). Rogelio (Jaime Camil) also is concerned about Jane's wedding, since he wants to be an active part of it.


8 p.m. on WTAE

Marvel's Agent Carter

The title character has turned up in other Marvel projects, including television's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and the "Captain America" movies, and -- still played by Hayley Atwell -- she gets her own vehicle with the premiere of this series. After World War II, Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) asks her to clear him of charges of selling lethal weapons on the black market.

8 p.m. on WPXI

Parks and Recreation

With the comedy about to start its seventh and final season, guest star Megan Mullally works again with series regular -- and husband -- Nick Offerman in the hour-long episode "Moving Up." She's back as Ron's (Offerman) ex-wife Tammy 2, who makes things less than comfortable for him again. Leslie, Ben and Andy (Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, Chris Pratt) are elsewhere, attending a conference in San Francisco ... a trek that proves quite eventful in a couple of instances.

People's Choice Awards 2015

No stranger to awards these days, thanks in part to the two Emmys she won in 2014, Allison Janney teams with her fellow "Mom" star Anna Faris to host these annual honors at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater L. …
