Animal Behavior Oklahoma Fraternity Members Get Swift Justice

When the president of the University of Oklahoma learned that some fraternity members were singing racist lyrics Saturday night on a bus en route to a party, he ordered them to move out of their house.

Later asked if the school would help the men find other housing, the president, David L. Boren, said, "We don't provide assistance to racists and bigots." Nor should the University of Oklahoma continue to teach them.

Two are already out. Mr. Boren, a former Oklahoma governor and U.S. senator, on Tuesday expelled the students believed to have led the song. In this, he showed mettle that may have some Democrats asking what he's doing in 2016.

Universities are supposed to serve the nation's best and brightest, not its dumb and dumber. Thirty-six years after Bluto joined "Animal House," Americans expect (and often forgive) some degree of bad behavior on college campuses. But the nine seconds of video that went viral this week was something else: a vile, incendiary rant, disguised in sing-song meter, not easily dismissed as the beer-fueled stupidity of the callow. …
