Mayor Bill Peduto's office announced Tuesday a citywide summer internship program that will "give young minds an opportunity to learn about city government."

Paid positions will average $10 an hour and will involve a minimum of 20 hours a week. Paid interns must live within the city borders. The deadline to apply for a summer 2015 internship is 4 p.m. April 20. To apply, create an online profile at https://
