Progress 64 West civic organization announced a Lifetime Achievement Award for Gordon Gundaker, chairman of Gundaker Commercial Group, for his years of work in local economic development projects.

First Waterloo Bancshares Inc. in Waterloo acquired all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Prairie National Bank of Stewardson, Ill. As of June 30, First National Bank of Waterloo had total assets of approximately $389 million, and Prairie National Bank had total assets of approximately $55 million.
