ST. LOUIS COUNTY > Two are charged with murder * Two St. Louis men have been charged with murder in last month's shooting death of Reginald Harris in the 9900 block of Hobbits Glen Court in north St. Louis County.

Theortric Dailey, 23, of the 4900 block of San Francisco Avenue, and Maurice Conner, 26, of the 4500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, were charged Saturday with one count each of second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Cash-only bail for each was set at $250,000.

Harris, 46, of the 6300 block of Hadden Bay Drive, in north St. Louis County, was shot multiple times about 9:45 p.m. March 28 in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead before an ambulance could take him to a hospital.

According to police, Daily and Conner flashed guns and then robbed Harris' friend before shooting Harris. The suspects were identified by the friend, police said.

ST. ANN > Mistakenly released inmate is sought * Police were looking Tuesday for Jemayle Johnson, 32, who talked his way out of the St. Ann jail on Monday night.

Johnson was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Monday for a parole violation related to drugs and two misdemeanor warrants. He tricked a corrections officer who went to release another prisoner about 11:30 p.m. "Johnson identified himself as the inmate to be released, and our corrections officer proceeded to release him from our facility," said St. Ann police spokesman Elliot Miller.

Johnson was not considered a threat to the public, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call St. Ann police at 314-427- 8000.

FARMINGTON, MO. > Dead pedestrian is identified * Police have identified the man fatally struck on Highway 67 on Sunday night as Raymond L. Taylor, 65, of Poplar Bluff. He was hit about 8:30 p.m. as he walked north in the southbound lanes, about six miles south of Farmington. …
