Apartments Sold for $1.14 Million

SARASOTA COUNTY -- PR & L Residence LLC, an East Meadow, New York- based company, has acquired a 13-unit apartment complex here for $1.14 million, according to property records.

PR & L financed its purchase of the 1616 Redwood St. complex with a $500,000 loan from Liberty Savings Bank, documents indicate.

The Redwood Apartments complex, near the Stickney Point Bridge, was sold by Redwood Street LLC, a Sarasota company managed by Leslaw and Kazimiera Srodek, records show.

The Srodeks paid $995,000 for the two-building complex in April 2008.

Meanwhile, a four-building complex on Worth Street in Sarasota County was sold this month by another person named Srodek for $760,000.

The buyer of the eight apartments at 2747 Fort Worth Street in Sarasota was Almari Properties LLC, a Punta Gorda company managed by Eva and Bohumil Komon that financed the purchase with a $360,000 loan from Liberty Savings Bank.

The seller was Josef Srodek, who paid $470,000 for the four- building complex in May 1992. …
