* The Place: A hidden gem on the North Shore, the Left Field Meeting Space, dazzled roughly 125 guests with its spacious rooftop deck overlooking PNC Park on Thursday night, as partygoers mingled with good food and drinks, bid on the silent auction, and basked in the sun while listening to John Gresh's Gris-Gris band. #SEENLifeIsGood.

* The Purpose: The Cancer Caring Center, now in its 27th year, is a local organization that provides a variety of free services to cancer patients and families. "There isn't a single family that walks into the CCC that doesn't walk in better for it," said Cindy Bandula-Yates. A lesser-known addition to the center is a small food bank (partner of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank).
