Amanda Wilwert has joined Foulston Siefkin as an associate in the law firm's Topeka office. Wilwert, who received a law degree from Washburn University in 2011 and a bachelor's degree in political science from Drake University in 2008, is focusing her practice on health care law and professional malpractice. Based in Wichita, Foulston Siefkin also has an office in Overland Park.


Angela Steinbock, of HME Inc. in Topeka, recently passed all four parts of the Uniform CPA Examination on her first attempt, something that less than 20 percent of certified public accountant candidates accomplish. Steinbock, a Washburn University graduate, has worked for HME for more than six years. Based in Topeka, HME provides custom metal fabrication and structural steel engineering to the construction industry.

The Topeka advertising and marketing firm of MB Piland has earned certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. WBENC certification validates that the business is 51-percent owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women. WBENC certification gives women-owned businesses the ability to compete for opportunities provided by socially conscious corporations and government agencies.


Clint Tosh, a truck driver operating out of Ruan Transportation Management Systems' Topeka terminal, has been named one of 16 region winners in Ruan's National Driver of the Year search. The region winners will travel to Des Moines, Iowa (the company's headquarters), for a ceremony and other festivities on July 14. …
