Pirates pitcher Gerrit Cole is engaged.

His fiancee Amy Crawford announced it on her Instagram account Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old pitcher, who leads the National League in wins this season with 13, was named to the All-Star team this season for the first time in his career. He has an ERA of 2.30 and was the top overall pick in the baseball draft in 2011.

Ms. Crawford is a former UCLA softball player and the sister of San Francisco Giants' shortstop Brandon Crawford. She works as a career coach at Athletes to Business in the Orange County, Calif., area, according to her LinkedIn account.

The couple met at UCLA, where they spent three years together and continued their relationship after graduation.

"The best things in life really do come in perfect time - Gerrit, you've made me the happiest girl in the world. Today, and every day that came before and every day that follows - I love you. Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you by my side," she said in one of the three engagement pictures she shared on Instagram.

The duo split nearly two weeks ago after photos surfaced of Disick partying and getting close to a former fling overseas, and since then, Disick has yet to return to Los Angeles, where until recently he shared a home with Kardashian and their three children: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 6 months.

"Kourtney is devastated, but more angry than hurt," adds the source. …
