For 45 of his 100 years of life, Jim Trigg of Mt. Lebanon has been taking photographs. But even he looks young in comparison to his 130-year-old amateur photography club.

Mr. Trigg took up the camera on doctor's orders, taking a photography class at Community College of Allegheny County after being prescribed a hobby to relieve stress from work. When his wife Coula died in 2000 after 33 years of marriage, he had won 56 medals and 200 ribbons. He stopped taking pictures, but he didn't stop attending club meetings.

"My dad is just a party animal," his daughter, Elaine Gillen of Mt. Lebanon, wrote.

Born June 14, 1915, in Piraeus, Greece, Mr. Trigg is the older of two brothers and immigrated to Wilkinsburg with his parents, graduating from Wilkinsburg High School in 1933 and Carnegie Tech in 1937. During World War II, he served for a year in the Navy as a radar specialist before spending 35 years as an electrical engineer at Westinghouse. …
