The Tuscaloosa City Council took the following action at its Tuesday night meeting:

Authorized an adjustment and refund of excess deposit to CPI LLC for installation of water mains and services for 2701 University Blvd. fire line; total $2,191.25.

Authorized execution of requisition No. 555 for payment from the Series 2007A Warrant Issue; total $2,829.90.

Awarded competitive bid(s) for the purchase, etc. of bioxide solution from Evoqua Water Technologies LLC.

Authorized execution of requisition Nos. 86-90 for payment from the Series 2014A Warrant Issue; total $1,075,055.59.

Authorized an adjustment and refund of excess deposit to Rives Construction Company Inc. for installation of water mains and services for Renasant Bank fire line; total $2,052.34.

Tabled for one week a decision on whether to approve the ABC application of SN Inc. for off-premises retail beer and off- premises retail table wine licenses at Sunshine Food Mart, 4822 Skyland Blvd. E.

Authorized the finance director to make transfer from the water and sewer fund to the general fund.

Authorized the mayor to execute an amendment to the lease agreement between the city of Tuscaloosa and the board of trustees of the University of Alabama.

Authorized payment of the 2015 ad valorem taxes of property purchased by the city in furtherance of the Tuscaloosa Forward Plan- Alberta Parkway Project; total $529.42.

Adopted a HIPPA Compliance Program for the city of Tuscaloosa.

Authorized an engineering and related services contract with the Cassady Company Inc. for waterline relocation ALDOT Project STPAA- STPOA-0215 (501), intersection improvements on Alabama Highway 215 at U.S. Highway 82 and Bear Creek Cut-off Road Phases I and II.

Authorized agreement with McGiffert and Associates LLC for engineering services for the West End tank restoration project; total not to exceed $52,778.

Authorized execution of a consulting agreement with CWH Management Solutions Inc. for human resources assessment center process for police department sergeant, lieutenant and captain; total not to exceed $67,875.

Tabled for 28 days a decision to select: Volkert as the engineer for Lift Station 3 interceptor upgrades; McGiffert and Associates LLC as the engineer for the Kauloosa Avenue sewer trunk line improvements; Hazen and Sawyer as the engineer for the Lift Station 55 pump and force main improvements; CH2M Hill as the engineer for the Mercedes sewer force main repairs and ARV investigation and upgrades; McGiffert and Associates LLC as the engineer for the pier replacements for sewer lines; Burk-Kleinpeter Inc. …
