FORMER Take That manager Nigel Martin-Smith is on the hunt for a new boyband.

After giving us Take That, Nigel, who launched the Manchester- based pop sensations in 1990, is on a mission to discover the next big thing.

And he's keen to find a group of charismatic working class lads from Manchester to enjoy global domination and chart success.

The famous music mogul who catapulted Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams to fame is now looking to launch a new four or five-piece boyband, aged 16 to 19, to launch in 2016.

He told us: "They have got to be intelligent and have personality as well as looks.

"I like the idea of having a new Manchester-based boyband.

"At the moment we have a lot of southernbased, posh-educated pop stars which is all very well. But I want a really good working class group.

"They need character, ambition, work ethic and personality that comes across well on TV."
