- JESUS Navas has revealed the burning desire behind his blast back to form with City.

The Spanish winger is desperate to fight his way back into his national team before Euro 2016 - and the Blues are reaping the benefit.

Navas has not played for Spain since he replaced Andres Iniesta as a substitute in a friendly win over Italy in March 2014.

Afterwards, he was cut from their World Cup squad.

But he began this season well and, after a short dip in form, is now having one of his best spells as a City player.

He has been accused of lacking an end product, but he put over four accurate crosses at Aston Villa on Sunday, creating chances each time.

He was a key figure in last week's dismantling of his old club Sevilla and came on as a sub to star in the draw at Villa.
