KEVIN de Bruyne says City can get even better as they prepare for the Premier League showdown with Liverpool.

The Belgian star has hit the ground running at the Etihad following his club record Pounds 54m move from Wolfsburg in the summer.

He has been named as the club's player of the month for a second successive time with five assists and two goals during October.

And despite the Blues sitting top of the Premier League pile and securing qualification to the Champions League knockouts stage in that time, De Bruyne insists there is more to come as players such as Sergio Aguero and David Silva return from injury.

"I am happy with the way everything is going," he said. "We are playing good as a team, we have a lot of injured players, but we did not lose in October.

"We qualified for the next stages of the Capital One Cup and Champions League so as a team we are doing a good job. …
