Lions Sign Nationally Ranked Class; Rmu Expects to Sign Three Recruits

Penn State men's basketball coach Patrick Chambers signed the program's highest-rated recruiting class Wednesday, receiving national letters of intent from four prospects, three of whom hail from Philadelphia's Roman Catholic High School.

Penn State's class, ranked 15th according to Rivals and second in the Big Ten, is led by 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard Tony Carr and 6-6, 215-pound forward Lamar Stevens, both players who are ranked by Rivals as the 47th and 80th overall prospects in the 2016 class.

The four-star prospects are joined by a pair of three-star teammates in 6-4, 170-pound forward Nazeer Bostick, also of Roman Catholic, and Oak Hill Academy's 6-7, 275-pound forward Joe Hampton.
