CITY have been handed a huge boost as Sergio Aguero and David Silva both returned to full training.

The two Blues aces joined the rest of their team-mates, and with Fabian Delph and Pablo Zabaleta also fit enough to take part in the session, City have found reinforcements at just the right time.

Aguero and Silva have both been missing for six weeks after picking up injuries on international duty within 24 hours of each other.

Both men are likely to be on the bench, but with Wilfried Bony a doubt - after he injured his hamstring at Aston Villa a fortnight ago - Aguero is pushing for a start.

"I do hope I can play in this game," he said. "I'm doing everything in my power to get to the match in top condition."

The Blues have performed well in the absence of two men who many think are their best players, winning five and drawing two.

But goalless draws at United and Aston Villa have highlighted the fact they do miss the creativity of Silva and finishing of Aguero. …
