Among the Victims in Paris, a German Art Critic 'Full of Love'

Fabian Stech, 51, a teacher and critic who had two sons, was one of the 130 people who lost their lives as a result of the attacks in Paris on Nov. 13.

Fabian Stech, a 51-year-old teacher and critic, was a regular at exhibitions and art fairs throughout Europe. But on Friday, he was in Paris to see the Eagles of Death Metal at the Bataclan.

Mr. Stech, a German, was one of the 130 people who lost their lives as a result of the attacks in Paris on Nov. 13.

A correspondent for an art journal, Kunstforum International, published in Cologne, Mr. Stech had lived in France for many years and taught since 1996 at a private school, Les Arcades, in Dijon. He lived there with his wife, Sophie Bouchard, a lawyer, and their two sons.
