Bale 'At Pinnacle' but Won't Write off Prem

GARETH Bale insists he is happy at Real Madrid - but won't rule out a return to the Premier League.

The Welsh attacker has won four trophies with the La Liga giants since his move in 2013 and has spoken of his desire to achieve even more with the club.

Yet to win over all the Madrid fans though, and struggling to stand out in a star-studded team, Bale continues to be linked with United.

At 26, he would potentially be a more attractive proposition than Cristiano Ronaldo, who Louis van Gaal recently reaffirmed the club's interest in.

Even if Ronaldo would prove easier to get for United, Bale would never write off coming back to the Premier League.

"My plan when I first started playing football was to try to reach the pinnacle - and Real Madrid is the pinnacle," he said. …
