ST. LOUIS * Residents gathered in north St. Louis on Tuesday night for yet another public meeting to gather feedback on building a new riverfront football stadium.

The meeting, at the O'Fallon Park Recreation Complex, was the second since an aldermanic bill was filed that would allow St. Louis to fund $145 million of the $1 billion project. As at the other meeting, residents counted the pros and cons of keeping St. Louis a so-called "NFL city."

Proponents focused on the potential jobs that would be created by the massive project, opponents focused on the need for the public to vote on it.

"I am for the stadium being built," said Darryl Hunter, who is in the pipefitters union. "It will also serve as an anchor for future projects."

Hunter focused on the minority inclusion program planned for the project. …
