FROM the Duke of Edinburgh to Sir Alex Ferguson, from Winston Churchill to David Cameron - Manchester Airport has seen hundreds of famous faces over the years.

Manchester's place at the heart of music and football has helped make it a mecca for legends of the airwaves and the Beautiful Game.

In 2015 alone, it's welcomed the Arsenal team, Swansea FC, Stoke City, Fulham FC, Barcelona, Norwich City, Cardiff City, the England team as well as Liverpool FC.

Manchester City and United players have also been through.

And players like David Beckham and Rio Ferdinand have been spotted, too.

This year, both Coleen Nolan and Coleen Rooney have flown out from the hub, while Sir Alex Ferguson - a regular in the airport's Escape lounge - has made one of his regular appearances.

Swimming legend Rebecca Adlington has been spotted, while Shayne Ward also stopped by. …
