LETTER: People Have the Power, Not Government

Dear Editor: We, the people, rule our country. Our president, Congress and Senate have limited authority, as set down in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We also have set up a judicial system, including a Supreme Court. We reserved all things to ourselves not set down in our Constitution that control the running of our country, including changing our form of government. The president has overstepped his authority to the point of high treason in trying to highjack Congress' authority and changing our government.

Our generation of elected people are a disgrace to our fallen defenders of this great nation. Congress controls immigration, not the president. We are united in our form of government and haven't given the president the power to change it. He violated his oath of office trying to change it. …
