Stillman College Choir to Perform Christmas Songs Sunday

The soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices that make up the Stillman College choir will ring throughout Birthright Alumni Hall with traditional and secular Christmas songs tonight at 6 at the choir's annual Christmas concert.

The audience will be encouraged to sing along to "Joy to the World", "Silent Night", "The First Noel", "Hallelujah Chorus" and other Christmas songs.

"The purpose is to bring the community together for the season to experience the voices of students at Stillman College," said sophomore Rose Bryant, a soprano choir member. "People of all ages and races can come together and enjoy a great night of music."

Forty choir members will be accompanied by Stillman's voice coach and piano teacher, Michael Gimenez, on the piano.

Two Stillman guest alumni -- Byron Thomas and Willie Williams -- will perform, along with multiple featured student soloists. …
