CLUBS IN LINE FOR Pounds 12,000 WINDFALL ; MCFA Announce 'Bold' Fund4Football Scheme to Help Manchester Teams.

MANCHESTER clubs are set to share a cash injection of Pounds 12,000 after the FA announced its latest football initiative.

Fund4Football will be available to all Manchester County FA member clubs from January 2016, with Pounds 12,000 of discipline income earmarked for reinvestment in the 2015/16 season. The size of the fund will be increased year-on-year to offer more financial support to member clubs.

Earlier this season, Manchester County FA developed a four-year business plan.

A crucial aim within this plan was to reduce reliance on discipline income by 2019 and ensure any discipline income is transparently reinvested back into grassroots football in Manchester.

Manchester County FA CEO Colin Bridgford said: "The launch of Fund-4Football is a bold change, but clearly demonstrates our commitment to lead change over the next four years to support grassroots. …
