JEFFERSON COUNTY > Girl is killed on ATV * Isabelle Petri, 12, died early Sunday in an ATV crash on Coon Club Lane, which runs off of Highway H near De Soto, officials said. Police were called about 8:30 a.m. Isabelle, of the De Soto area, was riding with her brother on a side-by-side utility vehicle when it crashed, said Capt. ST. LOUIS > Manslaughter suspect is arrested * Javon Edmondson, 26, has been arrested to face an involuntary manslaughter charge filed last fall in a fatal traffic collision. Officials allege that Edmondson, of the 1900 block of Suns Up Way in an unincorporated area of St. Louis County, was intoxicated when a passenger died in traffic crash about 12:20 a.m. Aug. 5, 2014.

The passenger, Justin Bracken, 31, of the 5900 block of Tara Lane in St. Louis, died at the crash scene. Edmondson and two other passengers, 20 and 33, were critically injured.

Officials said a blood test showed Edmondson's alcohol level at 0.095 percent, above the 0.08 limit for drivers. It was unclear why it took more than a year to arrest him. He was held in lieu of $150,000 cash-only bail.

He has convictions in 2006 for robbery and armed criminal action, court records say. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for those crimes but paroled in 2012.
