MANCHESTER City have been invigorated by their stunning Champions League comeback and that is bad news for Swansea.

Bacary Sagna thinks that last week's horror show at Stoke was down to tiredness, even though he denied it in the aftermath of the 2-0 defeat.

But he says the return of players from injury, and the lift of beating Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2 have given the Blues a much- needed boost.

Sergio Aguero and Martin Demichelis both have a chance of returning against the manager-less Swans tomorrow to ease the injury pile-up.

Sagna had played in all but 124 minutes of this season until he was left on the bench against Borussia Monchengladbach - after being partly culpable for both Stoke goals last weekend.

TV pundit Jamie Carragher accused him of 'lazy defending' for failing to properly track Marko Arnautovic, who scored both Stoke goals.

But given Sagna's workload it was more likely to be fatigued defending.

Pablo Zabaleta has missed most of the season, meaning Sagna has been forced to start 21 of the 24 games so far - only Yaya Toure and Fernandinho can match that. …
