Fury: I Don't Need Belts to Show I'm the Best

TYSON Fury insists he couldn't care less if he had all of his world heavyweight titles stripped from him.

The 27-year-old shocked the world when he won the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO titles from Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany last month.

Just 10 days later he had the IBF title taken from him after he was unable to fight mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov next due to a rematch clause with Klitschko.

The decision by the IBF has been heavily criticised by the general public, but Wythenshawe-born Fury believes he doesn't need any titles as proof that he is the best in the world.

"Everyone knows I'm the number one heavyweight on the planet. They can take all of their belts if they want - WBO, WBA, IBO and the Ring magazine," he said.

"They can give them to Fred Flintstone, Joe Bloggs, Superman or Batman for all I care. …
