MANAGER Neil Lennon's future is in doubt after Bolton extended their miserable run to one win from 20 games at Hull City.

Chuba Akpom's first-half goal saw Bolton slip five points from safety at the bottom of the Championship table and compounded a dreadful week for Lennon's side; the Trotters were handed a winding- up petition from HMRC over Pounds 600,000 of unpaid taxes and could face a 12-point penalty if they slip into administration.

Lennon has been in charge at the Macron for over a year and is highly regarded by fans, but is struggling to keep the club within touching distance of safety.

When asked if he is still the right man to lead the club, Lennon said: "Maybe not. I don't know. I think I am."
