Blues Fans Urge UEFA to Lift Stadium Ban after Kiev Champions League Draw ; LET US IN!

CITY fans are calling for UEFA to lift their ban on away fans so they can cheer their team on in Kiev.

For the second year running, Blues fans face being shut out of a Champions League tie due to a stadium closure - through no fault of their own.

City drew Dynamo Kiev in the last 16 of the competition and the Ukrainian club are subject to a two-match stadium closure after three black fans were injured in attacks during the group game against Chelsea in October.

They were also found guilty of crowd disturbances and having blocked stairways.

Last season, City fans - many of who had already bought visas and booked hotels and flights - were hit by a similar UEFA stadium closure at CSKA Moscow.

Now some of those fans have called on UEFA to allow away fans into Kiev, and asked City to back their request. …
