It has been exciting watching the Bradenton__ restaurant and bar scene develop since I__ first started frequenting places around the__ Friendly City more than a decade ago. Dishes__ featuring local fresh fish and farm-to-fork__ veggies have flourished__ in the hands of a__ growing cadre of chefs__ while craft cocktails__ have also become fun,__ interesting options__ at several top spots.__ Tuesday through__ Saturday going out__ choices are ample. But__ Sundays have been__ problematic with one__ of the main things the__ town has been miss-ing,__ for as long as I__ can remember, being__ a high-end brunch__ destination.__ EnRich Bistro__ debuted its Sunday__ brunch this week and__ it was if the restaurant on on Manatee Avenue__ West had been serving the new dishes and__ drinks since it opened over a year ago. Chef__ Rich Knowles unveiled a large, eclectic menu__ marked by just the right mix of imagination and__ well-executed standards, big-city stylings and__ local ingredients. I went with the__ Caprese Bloody Mary ($9) featuring a couple__ heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and celery__ salt rim. The Italian-style Bloody Mary hit the__ spot and I look forward to returning for the__ Meat Lovers Bloody (summer sausage, chili__ candied bacon, pepper jack) and Veggie Lovers__ (celery, pickled okra, pepperoncini).__ Another delightful drink choice is any of the__ Poinsettias ($5 each), including a beauty that__ pairs sparkling wine with pomegranate and__ blueberry.__ Fried chicken sounds simple enough but res-taurants__ get it wrong all the time. …
