Goulding Returns to Warriors as Youth Coach

FORMER Wigan Warriors centre Darrell Goulding has rejoined the club in a coaching role.

The England international was forced to cut short his playing career at the age of just 27 in June after a suffering a series of concussions.

Having made 175 appearances following his debut in 2005 - including in the 2010 and 2013 Grand Finals - Goulding left his hometown club at the end of the 2014 season and joined Hull KR, making a handful of appearances before his retirement.

He returns as youth development coach - a job vacated by former Salford Red Devils star Jordan James.

"I am honoured to be returning to Wigan in my new role and look forward to developing the future players of this great club," said Goulding.

Warriors' rugby director Kris Radlinski praised the outgoing James, but said he was thrilled to welcome Goulding back to the club. …
