The holiday season without a home just isn't the same. This family of six knows all too well how that feels. A fire that recently burned their house to the ground has forced the family to move into an old trailer. The grandfather and grandmother, who take care of their four grandchildren, want to rebuild, but had to find a place to stay.

Their bad luck didn't stop with the fire.

"A few weeks ago, the ceiling in the trailer caught fire, the family's caseworker said. "I just don't understand why bad things happen to good people.

The trailer fire destroyed part of the ceiling and much of its insulation.

While temperatures have been unusually warm so far this winter, replacing the insulation and repairing the ceiling is a priority because the trailer gets cold. The trailer's floors, which have rotted, also need to be repaired. …
