The storybook princesses and princes, pirates and witches of the Gemini Theater Company have found a new home in McKees Rocks.

The presenter of live theatrical interactive entertainment geared to children has found a partner as well in joining the nonprofit Focus On Renewal at the Father Ryan Arts Center.

A staple of family entertainment in The Factory, 7501 Penn Ave., in Point Breeze for 18 years, the children's theater learned in October 2014 that its lease would not be renewed. Since May, Gemini has presented shows on the go, including its latest, "Beauty and the Beast Holiday," at sites such as Latitude 360 in North Fayette.

"We will be the Gemini Theater you have grown to know and love, offering the Pittsburgh community classes, camps, season programs, and educational outreach performances and workshops under a new roof," Gemini director Jill Jeffrey said in a statement. …
