THERE will be some local interest on the undercard of David Haye's comeback fight next week after Shayne Singleton was added to the support card.

Singleton (21 wins, seven KOs, one defeat), who trains at Karl Ince's gym, faces John O'Donnell (30-11-2) in an eliminator for the British welterweight title, replacing the planned contest between Billy Dib and Jamie Speight.

The bout is set to serve as the chief support, with Haye (26-24-2) returning from a three-and-a-half-year absence to take on Australian Mark de Mori (30-26-1) in the main event of the card at the O2 Arena on January 16.

Singleton's only loss came against Sam Eggington in March 2015, and Haye is glad the duo are fighting at his event.

"I'm delighted that we've been able to add two more home-grown fighters to the bill in what promises to be a thrilling domestic dust-up," he said. …
