Smuggler Gave Pills to Prisoner Who Taped Them to the His Private Parts

A DRUG-SMUGGLING mum was caught after an inmate was discovered with a bag of pills taped to his private parts.

Emma Chapman, 32, of Curzon Road, Rochdale, has been jailed for a year for handing over the Class C drugs and other prohibited items to an inmate in HMP Forest Bank.

Manchester Crown Court heard the mother-of-four was visited Stephen Caldwell on May 10 last year.

But prison staff monitoring CCTV immediately noticed that Chapman had passed over a package to Caldwell and stripsearched him.

During the search it was discovered he had taped a package to his genitals containing mobile phones, four sim cards and phone chargers.

The package also contained 31 tablets and 1.4mgs of Class C drug buprenorphine - an opiate usually given to recovering heroin addicts. …
