St. Anthony's Amputee Support Group will host a free lecture on phantom pain by Delano P. Wegener, who is an amputee. He has experienced phantom pain daily for 12 years with no obvious remedy. He has studied and uncovered the history, manifestations, explanations, misconceptions, urban legends, frequently asked questions, and some promising experimental treatments for phantom pain. This presentation will be of interest to amputees and anyone who provides services and assistance to amputees, or has regular contact with amputees. …
