BERNARD Morley feels SALFORD CITY's improved home form could be the key to them winning the Evo-Stik Premier title.

Saturday's 4-0 win over Skelmersdale United means the Ammies are unbeaten in five home league games and they've won the last two with an aggregate score of 11-0. That sent Salford clear of Nantwich into second place and kept them within four points of league leaders Blyth Spartans.

"It takes time these things," said Salford's joint-manager. "It's a new league, we brought in four or five (players) and early doors the performances at home weren't great and the results weren't.

"But we knew that to win the league we had to improve our home form, which we are gradually starting to."

Salford's next match is a short trip to face local rivals ASHTON UNITED on Saturday. …
