A SET of exciting smallsided leagues are being set up in Greater Manchester, and the County FA are looking to recruit four passionate project managers who can lead each league in Manchester, Salford, Oldham and Tameside.

Each manager will report directly to the football development officer (recreational) and will be responsible for the development and delivery of the new league structure, which will offer flexible league opportunities for male players aged 16 and over.

Five-a-side, six-a-side and seven-a-side options are all available. Smallsided football is the most popular and fastestgrowing area of adult football. With over 1.5m adults playing this form of the sport every week and with over 30,000 teams playing in organised and competitive leagues, this is an exciting prospect to join a forward-thinking, progressive County FA. …
