MANAGER Lee Sinnott hopes to have remedied ALTRINCHAM's goalscoring problems after bringing in another new player.

The Robins have slipped into the relegation zone having scored just 23 goals from 26 games in the Vanarama National League - only thirdbottom Welling have scored less (22).

Sinnott had already brought in young wingers Josh Ginnelly and Dylan Mottley-Henry, on loan from Burnley and Bradford, respectively.

But the Robins have now signed striker Jonny Margetts on a month's loan from Tranmere.

The 22-year-old had just returned from a loan stint with Stockport, where he scored four times for a struggling County side.

Alty crashed out of the FA Trophy in midweek and today face a tough trip to thirdplaced Grimsby, where Luca Havern, Adam Griffin and Simon Richman could return.
