AFIVE?YEAR?OLD football prodigy being courted by City and United could make his grandad Pounds 150,000 richer - if he hits the big time.

Lewis Towns is training with both the Blues' and Reds' academies after impressing scouts.

And his grandad William, 63, is in for a Pounds 150,000 windfall if he does make it to the top - after placing Pounds 50 bets on him playing in the Premier League and for England at odds of 1,500/1. Lewis, from Ashtonunder-Lyne, began playing with his dad in the back garden and going to a 'Soccer tots' class aged 18 months.

But when he started turning out for Elite Soccer - where his dad Adrian is a coach - he attracted the attention of top clubs including City, United, Liverpool and Everton. He was invited by City to their youth training base at Platt Lane aged three - and despite being a United fan, continues to train with them at their multimullion pound Academy opposite the Etihad. …
