New Order to Play One-Off Gig in Summer at Castlefield

NEW Order are back with a huge one-off gig at Castle-field Bowl in the summer. Fresh from two sold-out shows as part of a stellar Warehouse Project line-up late last year, Bernard Sumner and co will now play a gig in the city centre on Saturday, July 9. This latest date comes on the back of the band's newest album Music Complete, which is their first since 2005.

Fans of the band will relish the opportunity to see the band perform in their home city once again, with a blend of old and new music expected on the set-list.

Fresh tracks from Music Complete, Restless and Tutti Frutti are sure to get an airing, along with back catalogue singles such as Blue Monday and We All Stand.

Bernard Sumner, Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris, Tom Chapman and Phil Cunningham showcased their reworked sound in December, with the band enlisting the help of Manchester Camerata and local composer Joe Duddell for the new album. …
