Crimson Tide Hungry to Even the Score with Vanderbilt

Only one team has defeated the Alabama women's basketball team at home this season - Vanderbilt. The Commodores won 54-48 on Jan. 10, but today in Nashville, the Crimson Tide will have its chance to get even as it takes on a familiar Vanderbilt team.

In order to defeat Vanderbilt this time around, Alabama plans to aggressively be in attack mode at all times and eliminate empty possessions.

"We set the tone with our aggressive spirit," coach Kristy Curry said.

Curry said her team and Vanderbilt's are very familiar with each other, but not only are they familiar, they are similar. Other than one extra loss to Alabama's name, the two teams' records are the same.

Sophomore Hannah Cook has consistently led Alabama with an average of 13.2 points per game. Vanderbilt also has a sophomore, Christa Reed, leading the team with an average of 11. …
