St. Francis School to Introduce Specialized Learning Program

Beginning next school year, St. Francis School in St. Albans will offer a Specialized Learning Program, taught by Maria Phillips. Phillips has a master's degree and corresponding special education with autism and multi-categorical certifications qualifying her to teach children using a variety of methods.

"We are excited to be able to instruct children based on their individual learning needs, said Principal Erin Sikora.

St. Francis School, 525 Holley St., is enrolling for the next school year. Preschool and kindergarten roundup will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

The school keeps tuition manageable, and families can apply for tuition assistance and scholarships.
